This is a Sources Sought and is for informational purposes only. This is not a solicitation announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation is currently available. This request does not obligate the Government in any contact award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, is conducting market research to determine the business size and capabilities of potential sources for dredging in the Ohio, Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers. The proposed NAICS for the proposed acquisition is 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.
The information gathered will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
SCOPE OF THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION:
This project is to provide maintenance dredging for the Ohio, Monongahela and Allegheny River open channel areas located anywhere upstream of Hannibal Locks and Dam.
This project is considered as an Independent Dredge/Disposal Operation, a project in which one or more separate cranes (derricks, excavators, etc.) are dedicated separately to the material loading and unloading actions of the work.
