The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) and the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to formalise their long-standing working relationship.
Renรฉ Kolman, secretary general of IADC, Geoffroy Caude president of PIANC and Louis Van Schel, secretary general of PIANC signed the MoU on 15 October, 2016.
Kolman stated that IADC has been an active member of PIANCโs committees โ PIANC EnviCom and PIANC ProCom โ for many years.
โSeveral IADC members are platinum sponsors of PIANC. Also, due to PIANCโs expertise, employees of IADCโs members are often heavily involved in PIANC Working Groups,” he said.
PIANC is a non-political and non-profit association that brings together international experts on technical, economic and environmental issues pertaining to waterborne transport infrastructures.
