Holland Dredge Design (HDD) testing a DSD-450 dredger in Harderwijk at the harbor. The dredger is executed with a caterpillar 3512 generator for power the dredge pumps, winches and the jetpump. Also onboard is a Caterpillar C4.4 generator for power the rest of the electric users.
The dredge is executed with two DP-400 dredge pumps in series which improve discharge distances. The dredging depth is 35 meters in this configuration.
