Harvey Gulf Subsea Solutions reports that it has been awarded two additional scopes of work for two of its Gulf of Mexico assets. The new awards come within days of the company’s winning a contract to support a U.S. Navy special operations project in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
The first of the new awards comes from Marubeni Oil & Gas Inc. and will utilize the Harvey Intervention for a project that includes hydrate remediation, removing and replacing HFLs, a tree pod change out, and, finally, a marine life survey.
The second new award for will see Shell Oil and utilize the Harvey Blue Sea for a term Flotel project that will leverage the large POB capacity of the HGSS 340 Class MPSVs.
Harvey Gulf Subsea Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvey Gulf International Marine formed in June of 2020 with the aim of providing clients with a total package for turnkey solutions for all subsea requirements.
