Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company Awarded FY19 Charleston Lower Harbor Maintenance Dredging

FY19 CHARLESTON LOWER HARBOR MAINTENANCE DREDGING

This acquisition is being advertised for full and open competition and will result in a firm-fixed-price contract award.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The work consists of maintenance dredging approximately 1,697,500 cubic yards of unclassified material from the Charleston Lower Harbor which shall be deposited in the Charleston Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). The work is located in Charleston and Berkeley Counties, South Carolina. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act.

MAGNITUDE OF WORK: $5,000,000 TO $10,000,000

UNRESTRICTED: This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The NAICS Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with SBA Small Business Size Standard of $27.5 Million. The contractor must be registered in WWW.SAM.GOV prior to award of the resulting contract. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, down-loadable from the internet off the Federal Business Opportunity Webpage (WWW.FBO.GOV). No CD-ROMS or hard-copy documents will be distributed. All documents will be posted at the WWW.FBO.GOV Webpage. It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments.
