GIS is pleased to announce the recent partnership with NuWave Group! Effective January 1, 2021, GIS finalized agreements and brought on NuWave as a new division within the corporate family of companies to provide Blasting and Coatings services within the Offshore, Refinery, and Pipeline sectors.

By bringing on the expertise of Nuwave’s leadership team with the blasting, coating, and fireproofing service lines, this will expand the GIS family of companies’ current portfolio of service offerings which will allow for us to provide a full realm of integrated turnkey services for our clients.”

With over 100 years of management experience built on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction within the corrosion industry, our NuWave team specializes in corrosion removal, surface preparation, and the application of new protective coatings. The team utilizes all forms of surface preparation and has the technical expertise to apply a wide variety of coatings.

The addition of the NuWave team will increase the corporate headcount by 63 employees with offices located in Broussard, LA, as well as with support from all the other GIS facilities.
