We are truly excited to announce that our George T. Strawn, known to everyone as Bubba, was awarded the Dredger on Deck Award at the recent 2024 Weda Dredging Summit & Expo.
Congratulations Bubba on receiving this well-deserved and prestigious award! We are all very proud of you and appreciate all you have done for those who have worked with you and for you.
Bubba is currently Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company (GLDD) Senior Dredge Manager in the Hopper Division. For 41 years, his GLDD career progressed steadily to positions of increasing responsibility and complexity and he has worked in a variety of roles and all over the world. Most importantly, he has dedicated his career to safe dredging operations and crew development something we have all benefitted from.
