Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. LLC, Houston, Texas, was awarded a $32,412,200 firm-fixed-price contract for shore protection and beach renourishment. Bids were solicited via the internet with two received. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 13, 2024. Fiscal 2023 civil construction funds in the amount of $32,412,200 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Florida, is the contracting activity.
