CDMCS is pleased to announce that Gator Dredging from Clearwater, Florida has joined the organization. Gator was founded in 2005 by William Coughlin and Philip Findlay and focuses on making Florida’s waterways more accessible with canal dredging, slip dredging and dock dredging. Gator developed a unique and environmentally friendly dredging and dewatering process that allows for faster dredging, less disruption, and lower costs for the different dredging markets it serves: commercial, residential and environmental. Gator has a fleet of smaller-sized cutter suction dredges, excavators, and support equipment. Gator has completed multiple projects including ones at Lake Seminole, in Cape Coral, for the City of Ft. Pierce, at Indian River Lagoon in Brevard County, and at Stevenson Creek. Owners William and Philip make safety both a top priority and a state of mind at Gator. Everyone is like family and does what it takes to see that everyone else gets home safely after each shift.
“It’s great to have an entrepreneurial small business dredging contractor from the Tampa Bay Area that specializes along the Florida waterways and has a solid commitment towards safety. The Gator Team will bring a lot to the table with a fresh perspective and new ideas. We look forward to the partnership, Gator!” – CDMCS Managing Director Michael Gerhardt.
