Fincantieri Reports 85% Jump in Underwater Segment Revenue; Bookings Jump to €16B

Fincantieri has reported €6.725 billion in revenue for the first nine months of 2025 and reaffirmed its full-year 2025 guidance of approximately €9 billion. 

Key 2025 Financial Highlights (as of 9M 2025)

  • Nine-Month Revenue (Jan-Sep): Fincantieri generated €6.725 billion in revenue, a 20.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
  • Full-Year Guidance: The company confirmed its target to achieve revenues of approximately €9 billion for the entire 2025 fiscal year.
  • Revenue Drivers: Growth was strong across all segments, particularly in Shipbuilding (+23% year-on-year) and the Underwater business (+85%), the latter boosted by the consolidation of WASS Submarine Systems.
  • EBITDA: Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) rose to €461 million for the first nine months, a 40% increase year-on-year, with the margin improving to 6.9%. The full-year guidance expects an EBITDA margin above 7%.
