Surveys for the deepening of the navigation channel and interior area of Porto Comercial da Figueira da Foz (commercial port of Figueira da Foz) have started, with a term of execution of three months. This is the first stage of the study on deepening the draft, which aims to increase the current 6.5 metres to 8.5, and the size of the ships that provide there, from 120 metres in length to 150.
The port is managed by APFF-Administração do Porto da Figueira da Foz, SA.
