Emergency Permitting Procedures in Effect for Tropical Storm Ernesto in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Effective September 27, 2024, the Jacksonville District is approved to implement emergency permitting procedures to address emergency situations directly resulting from Tropical Storm Ernesto, which impacted Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands on August 11, 2024, through August 18, 2024. These alternate procedures are authorized until March 26, 2025.

Applications requesting emergency permit authorization must be related to the event described above. You can find helpful information about emergency permitting at the top right of this page. Jacksonville District Regulatory Division is fully committed to helping those affected recover quickly from the effects of this storm.
