Ellicott Dredge Enterprises, LLC just delivered and commissioned a Mud Cat 40E electric remote-control dredge for a wastewater treatment facility in Alaska. Mud Cat® won the order through a competitive bid. The MC 40E removes the sludge in even layers using a horizontal auger cutterhead that creates an even bottom profile so the pond can be brought back to full storage capacity without the need to re-dredge which is a common problem with hanging pump dredges.
