WEDA’s Eastern Chapter Meeting will take place October 14–16, 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Portland, Maine.
This year’s program promises a dynamic mix of technical sessions, networking opportunities, and industry insights—all set against the backdrop of one of New England’s most vibrant port cities.
The agenda features cornerstone events including the Dredging 101 and 201 Courses, the USACE East Coast Industry Day, and a special Women of WEDA event with speaker Chelsea Pettengill, Executive Director of the Maine Port Authority.
We’re also honored to welcome Janet Waldron, VP of Maine Maritime Academy, as our keynote speaker.
Evening events at Gritty McDuff’s Brew Pub and Bissell Brothers will offer fun settings to connect with colleagues and peers.
We are still accepting abstracts for presentations that align with this year’s theme: Revitalizing Harbors: Balancing Economy, Environment, and Community.
If you have a compelling story, project, or innovation to share, we encourage you to submit your abstract by: Friday, August 29, 2025; Send to: Wendy Rocha, Program Manager, Email: Wendy.Rocha@foth.com.
We look forward to seeing you in Portland for a memorable and impactful event.
