PRETORIA- The delays in privatising the Durban port is a major disappointment. That’s the view of Road Freight Association CEO Gavin Kelly.
Once the busiest port in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Durban facility has been rendered inefficient,due to lack of investment and state capture corruption at Transnet.
Now the process of implementing a private operation at the harbour faces stumbling blocks.
