DSC continues to assess the long-term impact of Hurricane Ida and the catastrophic damage brought to the gulf coast earlier this week. We are grateful to share that both of our southern facilities fared well. Our corporate offices and manufacturing facility located in Reserve, LA was extremely fortunate, escaping with minimal damage compared to the devastation experienced throughout St. John Parish. That facility will remain closed for the time being due to the loss of power and parish-wide clean-up efforts that are currently underway. Depending on parish approval, we are hopeful to resume normal operations at that facility next Tuesday. Our Poplarvile, MS fabrication facility escaped with no damage and we are in the process of getting that site back operational this week.
Many of our team members were directly impacted by the storm and the loss is devastating across the south. We invite you to join us in praying for the continued safety, well-being, and protection of everyone in these impacted areas.
