Dredging works underway at Dunmore East Harbour after almost 20 year wait

The project will see the removal of almost 40 thousand tonnes of silt from the harbour, and will be ongoing for the next two months.The operation cost in the region of 6 million euro.County Clare engineering firm L&M Keating Ltd were announced as the contractor in May. Dunmore East Harbourmaster Harry McLoughlin says the dredging will drastically increase efficiency at the harbour.For more on this and other local stories, tune into WLRFM News at the top of the hour.
