ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WALA) – A dredging project is underway at Perdido Pass in Orange Beach.
The sand is being pumped onto Robinson Island. The dredging will be going on for several weeks, so boaters are asked to stay a safe distance away from the equipment.
The city is also asking people on the beach to be respectful of the work areas.
