The dredging of the Wellington Harbour and Channel began Saturday, March 18 and will continue through Thursday, March 31.
“There is restricted access to the east end of the beach,” said Tanya Delaney, outdoor facilities supervisor with the County. “This area will be fenced off while dredging work is taking place.” Accumulated sand is being pumped onto Wellington Beach. -John Ferguson photo
