New Delhi, March 22: In an exclusive video interview with Press Trust of India ahead of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, Capt. S. Divakar, MD & CEO of Dredging Corporation of India, shared the company’s growth trajectory and future vision.
Dredging Corporation of India, headquartered in Visakhapatnam, is the country’s premier dredging organization with nearly five decades of expertise in dredging operations, maritime infrastructure, and inland waterways development.
Highlighting the company’s strong growth momentum, Capt. Divakar noted that DCIL has consistently expanded its topline—from around ₹550 crore in 2015 to approximately ₹1,148 crore in FY 2024–25, effectively doubling its revenue over the past decade. Building on this performance, the company is now setting an ambitious target to more than double its topline once again, aiming to reach ₹3,000 crore within the next 5–6 years.
He emphasized that this growth will be driven by exploring new markets, expanding into emerging business areas, and strengthening DCIL’s presence both domestically and internationally. The upcoming Golden Jubilee event on March 29 marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey and reflects its legacy of excellence and continued commitment to nation-building through maritime infrastructure development.
