Boater Notice: Dredging at Head of Lake Pepin–Goose Bay Cut
Starting August 22, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be dredging at the head of Lake Pepin in the Goose Bay Cut (River Miles 785.9–786.5). Work is expected to last about three weeks.
If you’re on the water:
Use caution around dredging equipment
Stay in the marked navigation channel when passing through
This routine work helps keep the Mississippi River safe and open for everyone.
