Finally, after three years of no National WEDA Dredging Conference due to Covid, WEDA 2022 kicks off with a bang last night at the Welcome Reception. More than 800 people and almost 130 exhibitors have signed up, which is more than double the last conference in Chicago. People were excited to greet and meet old and new colleagues in person after the three year hiatus.The conference will start today with opening remarks from CEO of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. Lasse Peterson and Col. Rhett A. Blackmon of the Galveston USACE.
