Further to DredgeWire‘s Sept 17 post (see link) about a $3mm contract award from USACE, DredgeWire has spotted Southwind’s Ellicott dredge “Andi Rae” in the mouth of the Gordon River south of Naples, Fl.
As expected, Southwind is initially pumping sand from the mouth of the Gordon River inlet channel to Keewaydin Island as beneficial reuse.
DredgeWire spotted the Southwind crews working through the Thanksgiving weekend pumping sand on to the beach.
