Jack recently successfully defended his PhD thesis at the University of Lancaster, where he was sponsored by the company over a period of three years to develop and refine the particle tracking/sediment tracing technology pioneered by Partrac. ‘Particle tracking’ is a methodology used by various agencies (consultants, governments, research institutes) to track soils, sediments, contaminants, etc. in the environment.
Jack, now an experienced practitioner of the sediment tracing method, brings with him the wealth of knowledge in this area. His role will be to work with Partrac’s sediment tracing team on existing and future projects and to further develop the technology.
