The Dorena-Hickman Ferry reopened Sunday morning. The ferry had been closed the last several days due to a dredging project.
FULTON COUNTY, KY– The Dorena-Hickman Ferry has halted service due to a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dredge work.ing in Hickman Harbor.
Service stopped at 11 a.m. this morning and is expected to remain out of service for the next 3 to 4 days.
The dredge and support barges take up space in Hickman Harbor that prevents the ferry from reaching the Kentucky Landing.
