PADUCAH, Ky. — The Dorena-Hickman Ferry will be closing at about 3:30 p.m. today, Saturday, Aug. 23 due to dredging operations in the area.
The ferry will be temporarily out of service for a couple of days for the annual dredging of the Hickman Harbor.
The ferry will notify the public of its reopening via their Facebook page.
Motorists may check on the ferry’s operating status by calling (731) 693-0210 or by visiting https://www.facebook.com/DorenaHickmanFerry/.
The Dorena-Hickman Ferry connects KY 1354 at Hickman, Kentucky, with Missouri Route A and Route 77 near Dorena, Missouri.
