DNREC is hoping to get Delaware residents more engaged with the projects they conduct around the state and have produced a 5-minute video featuring an explanation of their Little River channel dredging project to assist with that endeavor.
The $1.01 million state-funded project is a collaborative effort between DNREC’s Divisions of Watershed Stewardship and Fish & Wildlife. More than 79,000 cubic yards of “material” will be dredged, and 30 dilapidated pilings and a derelict vessel with be removed from the Little Creek waterway.
