Glen R. DeWillie has been appointed senior manager of developing markets with Kleinschmidt Associates.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in water resources and environmental sciences, according to a press release. DeWillie served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 20 years, where he commanded and was district engineer of the Buffalo District, leading a 300-person team in the planning, design and operation of flood control, navigation and water resources management projects. He also spent several years as a consulting engineer, focused on developing and managing water resources, energy services and military installation planning projects.
“We’re very excited to welcome Glen DeWillie to Kleinschmidt,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Charles “Chuck” Padera. “With his extensive experience in leadership, business development, and project management throughout the United States, Glen will help Kleinschmidt extend our reach into the energy, water and environmental markets.”
DeWillie has a bachelor of science degree from the U.S. Military Academy and a master of science in environmental engineering from Stanford University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Virginia and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers. DeWillie will work in Kleinschmidt’s Oregon office.
Kleinschmidt Associates works primarily with energy companies in North America to protect and enhance the environment, working at the intersection of regulatory requirements, environmental science, and engineering solutions, according to a press release.
