Milestone achieved at the Hai Long offshore wind farm. Our Taiwanese joint venture CDWE has successfully completed all 73 jacket foundations ahead of schedule for the 1 GW+ Hai Long project in the Taiwan Strait. Following the earlier installation of 219 pin piles, this marks another major step forward for one of Taiwan’s most ambitious offshore wind projects. Installed with offshore installation vessel Green Jade, these are the largest foundations ever built in Taiwan.
This achievement was made possible by our teams, partners, and suppliers, whose expertise and teamwork kept everything moving safely and efficiently.
With this milestone, CDWE has now contributed to nearly 1.5 GW of offshore wind installations in the region.
