We’ve just launched a new shore power system at our Vlissingen base, where we mobilize and demobilize our vessels. This upgrade will further reduce emissions and support our goal of becoming climate neutral by 2050.
The project is supported by the Dutch government and developed in close coordination with North Sea Port and Verbrugge International, where our base is located. DEME will also prioritize shore power compatibility when chartering third-party vessels, further reducing emissions during port stays.
