DEME Discovery: inspiring future engineers!
From Monday until Wednesday we successfully hosted the fourth edition of DEME Discovery. This is a unique initiative organized by our campus recruitment team, aimed at engaging and inspiring engineering students by bringing them to one of our projects.
In this edition, we invited engineering students from Ghent University (in collaboration with student organizations Hermes and Poutrix). Together we embarked on a three-day journey to Denmark to explore the Fehmarnbelt project, in which DEME is part of the FLC joint venture.
The goal of DEME Discovery is to offer valuable insights into engineering projects while fostering enthusiasm and engagement among future talent. This is fed by insightful presentations about DEME and the project and informal contact with the student in Denmark’s scenic beauty and cultural richness.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. We look forward to organizing the next edition in the beginning of April.
