Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Tripathi on Wednesday said they would go ahead with their proposal to set up a repair, skill development and maintenance yard for dredgers at Antarvedi in East Godavari district.
Speaking on the concluding day of the two-day conference on enhancing port and coastal infrastructure organised here by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Ministry of Finance and Confederation of Indian Industry, he said at present, a DCI dredger was being repaired at the Hindusthan Shipyard Limited (HSL) here.
Mr. Tripathi said the corporation has already signed an MoU at the Maritime Summit held in Mumbai for construction of a dredger repair and maintenance yard in East Godavari.
