DCI Nets Profit

Dredging Corporation of India Limited, under the administrative control of Ministry of Shipping, has ended up with Rs. 22.56-crore profit for half year on Sunday.

Declaring its unaudited financial results for the half year, the mini-ratna company made a profit of Rs. 22.56 crore as against a loss of Rs. 10.37 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The turnover for the half year was Rs. 319 crore as against Rs. 304 crore for the corresponding period last year. The company is presently executing major projects at Haldia, Cochin, Paradip and at Mongla Port in Bangladesh.
