Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Small Craft Harbours is planning a project at the Dauphin River Small Craft Harbour located on the Icelandic River in Manitoba. This project includes:
- Dredging 850 cubic metres of material from the entrance channel and offloading area in order to maintain safe navigation within the harbour
- Installation of 4 steel anchor piles to increase safety and efficiency of harbour oeprations and maintenance related to float installation and removal

Notice of Intent to Make a Determination – Start of Public Comment Period
August 7, 2025 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Small Craft Harbours Branch, intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Fisheries and Oceans Canada is inviting public comments until September 7, 2025 respecting that determination.
