Dare County appears to have come up with a plan to help pay for inlet dredging at least through the next year without cutting into beach nourishment money promised to Kitty Hawk,
The $102 million county budget for fiscal year 2015-2016 approved last week by the Board of Commissioners includes $3 million for dredging to match proposed state funding now making its way through the legislature.
