Damen & Tu Delft Solar, last weekend, became the WORLD CHAMPION at the Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge 2019

Damen is for the 2nd year in a row proud partner of the TU Delft Solar Boat Team. And a successful partnership this is! Last weekend they became the WORLD CHAMPION at the Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge 2019.

We are extremely proud of their accomplishment, especially because they faced major setbacks like losing their hydrofoil and problems with the electrical solar panel system. If you are able to become a world champion with these misfortunes, you are in our opinion real heroes! We look forward to continuing the cooperation with the TU Delft Solar Boat Team and to sharing the knowledge gained from our work together to make the maritime world more sustainable.
