Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik [ZSE:ULJN-R-A] said on Monday it has delivered a trailing suction hopper dredger to Luxembourg-based Dredging and Maritime Managment.
The 151.3 m long ‘Willem Van Rubroeck’ is 36 m wide and the maximum depth from which it will be able to dredge material is 45 m, Uljanik said in a Zagreb bourse filing.
Uljanik also said on Monday, in a separate filing, it has signed a deal with Norwegian company Nexans Subsea Operations to build a cable laying ship CLV 10,000.
The ship will be 149.9 m long and 31 m wide. Uljanik has 34 months to complete the project.
