CPRA to Host Advisory Committee Meetings on Caernarvon and Davis Pond Freshwater Diversions

The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) will host two advisory committee meetings in New Orleans for the Caernarvon and Davis Pond Freshwater Diversion projects on Friday, December 12, 2025.

The purpose of the meetings is to advise CPRA’s Executive Director of the operational management plans for the diversion structures.

The meetings are required to assess the effects of prior diversion operations on conditions in the Breton Sound and Barataria Basins, consider recommendations of the Caernarvon and Davis Pond Technical Working Groups, and recommend a 2026 operations plan for each diversion.
