BATON ROUGE, LA – Coastal Day at the Legislature will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. This year, Coastal Day will be preceded by Coastal Industry Week to increase opportunities for coastal stakeholders to engage with CPRA staff and learn more about ongoing projects and programs. This year’s event will include the following:
Coastal Industry Week Webinars
To complement the discussions taking place on Coastal Day, CPRA will facilitate four technical webinar sessions on topics relevant to the projects being implemented in the coastal zone. The format will include presentations on design and construction project details, followed by time for questions and discussion. The sessions will use the Zoom webinar platform.

Business-to-Business Networking Event
As part of Coastal Day, CPRA is providing an opportunity for businesses interested in coastal work to connect with experienced prime contractors through an informal networking event.

Coastal Construction Project Forecast Presentations
Coastal Construction Project Forecast – Partner Led
CPRA will present details on upcoming partner-led construction projects that will be advertised for bid within the next 12 to 18 months. Short presentations on each project will be followed by a question and answer session.

Coastal Construction Project Forecast – CPRA Led
CPRA will present details on upcoming coastal construction projects that will be advertised for bid within the next 12 to 18 months. The presentation will focus on projects led by CPRA and will also include best practices on how to do business with the agency.
