The saga of the Carolina Beach Lake continues.
After months and months of dredging, followed by returning dredged dirt to the lake, is it even going to happen at all?
Carolina Beach Mayor Joe Benson says the town will explore the issue again at its April 24 Town Workshop.
He says the public wants the dredging done, but he wants to present the “contrary side” before moving forward.
Benson says if the project is opened up for bids again, work won’t begin until the fall.
