Cottrell Contracting Corp.,* Chesapeake, Virginia, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for $8,255,950 to perform maintenance dredging of the Coast Guard Pier Papa and Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Bids were solicited via the internet with two received. Work will be performed in Charleston, South Carolina, with an estimated completion date of March 13, 2026. Fiscal 2025 civil operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $8,255,950 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity.
