The governors of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island announced a multi-state agreement on Wednesday to streamline the selection of offshore wind energy projects.
The partnership could lead to the three states acquiring clean energy at more competitive and affordable rates, Gov. Ned Lamont (D-Conn.) said.
