“The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will receive $11.6 billion for construction projects, including $2.55 billion for storm damage reduction projects, flood risk management projects, and shore protection projects, and $2.5 billion for inland waterway projects. The bill also gives the Army Corps $4 billion for operation and maintenance projects spread from FY22-24, with $626 million required to be spent within 90 days of bill enactment to dredge federal navigation projects and repair damages to projects caused by natural disasters.”
