Geopool’s Dewatering System Seeing Great Results at City of Lorain, Oh. Black River Dredge Material Reuse Facility

Coldwater Consulting, LLC manages the cleanout of several GeoPool® Dewatering Systems at the City of Loraine’s Black River Dredge Material Reuse Facility. Each Model V12 GeoPool is being emptied in 2.5 days of pass paint filter truckable material. The material was dredged from the Black River using a 16 inch (400mm) barge clean-out dredge pumping material that was rich in clay and organics. The confined disposal facility (CDF) at the City of Loraine is the first GeoPool CDF in the United States and continues to show the benefits of using a reusable non-mechanical dewatering method for bulk dewatering.
