Cohasset’s harbor dredging project has been delayed due to the high seas forecast.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is managing the project, which was slated to start today (Thursday, Oct. 1) and continue through the end of January – dredging portions of the federal navigation channel in Cohasset Harbor.

Sandy Beach and its parking lot will be closed until Feb. 1, 2016, or earlier if the project is completed before then.
