The Lake Improvement Commission directed City Administrator Jim Patrick to begin contract negotiations with Dredge America for administration of dredging operations of the city at its meeting Monday.
The city accepted four bids for administration of the dredge from VEIT, Great Lakes, JTB and Dredge America since the commission sent out a May 26 letter soliciting bids to take over dredging operations.
