China Communications Construction Company to Build Dry Dock at Zvezda Shipyard by the End of 2019

On 14 March 2018, Andrey Tarasenko, Acting Governor of the Primorsky Territory, met Ma Jinlian, head of Moscow office of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC). The parties discussed participation of ???? in construction of Zvezda shipyard at Bolshoy Kamen. In autumn, the Chinese corporation signed a contract on construction of a dry dock and three residential areas. The works are to be completed by the end of 2019, says press center of Primorsky Territory Government.

The parties also discussed their joint projects in construction of highways.

???? is performing feasibility study for the construction of roads in the Primorsky Territory.

Andrey Tarasenko says CCCC has proved to be successful in the road construction market. The Primorsky Territory is interested in cooperation with the Chinese corporation in the framework of a concession under the project on construction of a bridge between Vladivostok and the Elena island as well as a low-level road from Vladivostok to the Khasansky District.

Ma Jinlian says the company has been working on its participation in Primorye 1 and Primorye 2 international transport corridors that can include the mentioned roads. The feasibility study is to be completed in April.

“Our company is the third in the rating of international contractors. Today, we pay much attention to operation in the Russian market. All the projects you mentioned are in our competence”, said Ma Jinlian.

Andrey Tarasenko emphasized that Japan and the Republic of Korea are also interested to take part in the mentioned road construction projects.
