Phase 1 dredging of the Chaudoir’s Dock harbor entrance in the Town of Union started April 22, with the park remaining open during the process.
Phase 2 operations, which depend on grant funding, may address long-range operations of the harbor to include shallow water conditions, parking-lot rehabilitation, safety and security lighting, and sign upgrades to the park.
The boat launch docks are installed for the season in Frank E. Murphy County Park (Town of Egg Harbor), Lily Bay (Town of Sturgeon Bay), Forestville Mill Pond and George K. Pinney County Park (the quarry park, Town of Sevastopol).
The wave attenuator and kayak launch at Robert M. Carmody in Little Sturgeon Bay will be installed in the coming weeks.
