Proud milestone: we’ve delivered the Deborah H. Valentine, the second of four newbuild inland push boat series for Canal Barge Company.
The first in the series—M/V Al Sloss—was delivered less than two months ago, and this second sister boat keeps the momentum going as the program moves steadily forward.
This class is a 2,600 HP, Tier 4 inland push boat built for efficient work on inland rivers, canals, and intracoastal routes.
Key particulars:
–87’ x 33’-8” x 11’-3”
–Twin-screw propulsion with (2) Mitsubishi Tier 4 mains (rated 1,260 HP @ 1600 RPM each)
–Outfitted for Subchapter M service with accommodations for a crew of 8
And we’re not slowing down—the next two boats are expected at roughly two-month intervals, continuing this four-boat delivery cadence.
