No, Stevie Wonder did not dedicate his world-famous song to our Mighty Servant 3. But the lyrics “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” are still relevant 55 years after the song was released. Boskalis’ semi-submersible heavy transport vessel has successfully delivered another cargo to the port of Flushing in the Netherlands.
A few weeks ago, our Mighty Servant 3 submerged in Freeport, Bahamas, to load a floating dry dock destined for the Dutch Shipyard Reimerswaal. Measuring 168 by 38 meters (28 inner width) and with a lifting capacity of 18,000 tons, this dry dock is considerably larger than the shipyard’s current floating dry dock. Following a long voyage across the Atlantic, the heavy transport vessel recently arrived in Flushing. After a smooth float-off operation, the floating dry dock was towed to its destination, after which the Mighty Servant 3 continued its way. Ready to carry out new transports and sign, seal, and deliver new cargoes for our clients.
